How To Make Your Website ADA Compliant

In order to avoid a costly lawsuit, you must be sure that your website is accessible to the blind and visually impaired. This is mandatory in order to be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Lawsuits come without warning and/or remedy except for settlement or litigation – both are very costly.

This Fox Business video will explain more and help you understand the importance of protecting your business now, before you are sued.

To Be ADA Compliant…

Your business website is now required to be ADA compliant. This can be done by adding the required elements which will make accessibility possible for the blind and/or visually impaired.

Required website elements include:

  1. Text-to speech  (screen reading software).
  2. Magnification
  3. Font readability
  4. Change of display

… and more.

You can see an example by clicking the Disability symbol on the middle left side of this page (and every page).
